Tricky Workplace Situation Handled
- nothing goes as planned. we always have unforeseen circumstances and to not be able to adapt to those makes us lag in our work. We need to be able to keep up with trends, technologies, current affairs etc and integrate these into our work as and where it applies in order to be in the same timeline as our audience
- the projector not working! the presentation being planned out to present to a particular person but instead substitute shows up, and you have to slightly tweak in order to convince that individual
- 1. when we had a packaging issue, but worked around it to be in our favor, 2. when the content was ready in time, 3. when your supplier delays your timeline. to enhance - aways have contingency plans.
- Always think from the customer point of view. What do they see and perceive? What goes behind the scene is not what they always see, So, being aware of your circumstances gives you a better chance of foreseeing any troubles.
- first thing to understand is, nothing goes as per plan. we should always take into account various setbacks and unforeseen circumstances. for entrepreneurs to respond to such threats - always be aware and foresee how the world is changing and how the demands are changing and adapt accordingly
- 1. to analyze the mistakes done by you and others for similar issue, and seeing what has worked best and then following your gut to make the final decision, 2. being aware and learning to trust yourself & ur decisions,, 3. blocking out people who are only around to criticize and wait for one wrong move
- i never gave up trying. Despite all the hurdles trough my career, be it in terms of emotional or financial support, i made my way through it because i learnt to be resilient. had i not, i would be stuck in a job that i was very unhappy with, leading a life that i wasn't satisfied with

- when a problem arises, first keep calm then think of a solution. if youre stressed, do an activity that releases the tension and come back to it after a while. a foggy and stressed brain will rarely come up with an innovative and effective solution
- You know exactly who your target market is. You have already identified the problem and know what your audience needs. It reduces the risk of a failed business idea.
- Firstly, identifying the customers requirements when making the booking online is a must. A log book or a check list or an app for internal use by the hotel that will help make sure all the requests and services paid for are streamlined in an orderly manner for the staff to overview even if the shifts change.
- If I were a mentor, I would offer a product. Lets say an apple and urge the student to buy it. then I would put forth another scenario where I first understand from another student what their diet and concerns are and then offer the apple saying it solves that particular problem. This way it gets simplified to understand the concept of design thinking.
