Tricky Workplace Situation Handled
- I would allow myself to be more patient with the trainee and try to understand his perspective. If possible would allow to put the trainee under one level junior too for some tasks. Would make the trainee to understand that he needs to be more of an active listener too to grow better in his career.
- We can learn from one’s mistakes and failures need not be costly if we have a contingency plan in place. We can manage mistakes well and have realization of market to come out better and successful the next time.
- Failures need to be documented as lessons learned in systems to raise awareness among others to come and to bring innovative ideas around failures. The experience one gets from failures need to be shared and experimented. Recovery stories are an inspiration and will add strength for trying harder and bouncing back from setbacks.
- 1. Giving every staff an opportunity to voice their ideas according to the requirements and needs of the company and to enable a boost in individual or collective performances. 2. Making fair decisions 3. Proper guidance and training 4. Reward scheme for best innovations and opportunity to own and implement an innovation.

- 1. Having own workspace to express one's individuality is a positive aspect and will enable the person to give their best performance and innovative ideas at work. 2. Working from home option can be absent in workplaces, and still have a thriving workplace if there is a practice of giving individuals opportunity to take accountability and be responsible for their given tasks. 3. Micromanaging each employee can be a big negative as the productivity for things that matter decreases and the manager and the employee loses time in the micromanaging and the being managed scenarios. This will lower productivity and will not allow employees to give their best stress free performance.

- Teach the skills of having a plan about how to go about with each customer according to their requirements. Try to maximize knowledge in their field and display assertiveness with confidence.

- Practice to be more confident and prepared, demonstrate a positive behavior, stay calm and display a confident body language.

Understand the root cause of problem and visualize who is specialized in this part of problem and check for methodology to resolve such problems and how to facilitate solution. Team building and collaboration can bring innovative measures to solve problems. Stress management involves breaking down the problem and bringing innovative measures to play.
- Destress by checking social media, listening to music, taking a snack or tea break or reading the news or any interesting article online. These are applied in my work life.
- Point out the root problem, check for the who, what, where, how and why of the problem and come up with an effective solution, try to work out a plan and commit to it fully to get a possible outcome which is close to the solution and it's ok if it's not perfect.
- Some of the ways to maintain a work-life balance are: 1. Organize one's days work as per priority 2. Be proactive in one's work and ensure any obstacles are foreseen and arranged to be resolved. 3. Ensure proper time management and delegation where required. 4. Always reach work on time and avoid unnecessary long breaks and distractions. 5. Engage in virtual meetings where possible to avoid waste of time and resources for commute.
- A work life balance allows one to have a clear focus on work as well as on their health and well being by giving ample time for work and leisure. This increases productivity at work and ensures higher employee retention due to job satisfaction. Brings in critical thinking and builds innovative thinking. Work life balance reduces absenteeism in workplace and hence boosts bottom line.
- Sadness was empathetic and she felt how bad the elephant felt after loosing her collection. Having a friend to listen empathetically gave him a good closure to his feelings and helped to move on with his grief and to end his misery.
- I am an empathetic listener. I usually put myself in their shoes and also share my experience in handling similar situations which might be helpful for them.
