- Well I work with a bootstrapped edtech in a senior position and as a passion I have an animal charity which has a full scale animal shelter. I manage both with aplomb. I can help younger generation in effectively managing time, work schedule, prioritising work etc etc
- We are bootstrapped startup and we have stress in teams, we have automated and regularly auditing the PMS . It has helped a lot as a lot of transparency in work distribution has come in. HR does a lot of engagement with various teams, mental health talk, stand comedy online shows etc etc. Managers have been made aware that stress can take the best employee quit in a second , so avoid it
- Automation can take care of most of the problems. If a decent PMS is put in place with tangible goal and objective setting for team members and OKR for managers, a lot of these issues will vanish. Yes weekly/biweekly audits must be in place to review the improvements
- Power of purpose, clearly laid down goals and objectives and reviewing them and upgrading them with time. self confidence and the power to stay calm in difficult situations,
- More accurate data and more self confidence would have tilted it in my favour
- One must be clear about what the job has on offer-- what it takes to fulfil the roles and responsibilities of the job To be confident, give good non verbal cues-- firm handshakes etc and must know how will the company benefit tangibly with him being inducted in the team
- A team members past experience , body of work and education can give me a good peek into his/her capability of delivering a task.
- Will be happy to talk about trusting the team, effective communication while detailing the task delegated, Expectation of outcomes and training needs to plug the gap
