Tricky Workplace Situation Handled
- Changes in my plans by others at the last minute and mistakes done because someone is not paying attention when I am giving instructions
- As I become older I have realized that being in the red zones is becoming less and less frequent. I choose my battles and things that bothered me in the past have no longer a hold of me either because I am aware of my trigger point and avoid them or because I deal immediate with any sudden situation.
- By taking control of the situation by acting immediately or by removing ourselves from the situation until we are calm.
- Take a deep breath and leave the room. Don't return until you are composed and calm. During that time you can go to the window and scream, cry, write. Emotions carry energy and it needs to be released in a way that is not harmful towards other people.
