Undertake a strategy cafe approach to allow free flow of idea and brainstorming - casual setting, flow of communication - no idea is bad - get as many on the table as possible 3. Take inspiration from others 4. Create mood boards to visualise ideas Use the above to review for feasibility in a separate workshop - not in the brainstorming one.
- Not entirely - though there are some pockets that use it. Main reason for non-application is generally because organizations already feel they know what they need to deliver to the market or may be comfortable since they hold a position of dominance with regards to the product or services that they provide and are not open to derailing the current system.
- Redundant / old school approach to employee engagement with annual surveys which are passe. Divergent thinking solutions - a daily pulse survey and a predictive analytics chatbot that reached out to every employee four times a year
- Take a problem / situation and lead / guide the mentee at solving the issue using the two ways of thinking for them to see the outcomes, approach, challenges and learning.
- Forecasting potential future business level based on past performance and trends that have bene seen over a period of time
- Our company derived a programme which identified the top talent within the organization and then worked with CEOs / Leaders of businesses to define problem statements which smaller groups of top talent would work on. This was to fasten the pace at which innovate solutions would be found for various problem statements
- One of the services we provided our employees was online learning. Despite having a great platform, the uptake was limited. Based on target audience interviews, strategy cafe sessions and multiple options review, we chnaged the approach to a pull philosophy rather than a push philosophy. We launched an online learning lottery that people started to sign up for and e-Learning became more accepted and widely used.

- It will be critical communicate this with clear examples and outcomes, define a potential project / problem statement and then support the mentee through this journey.
- Design thinking allows you to follow structured approach to defining a customer problem, involving them in the potential solution discussion, ideating and prototyping to eventually come up with a solution that works and positively impacts the target audience.
- The following steps can be followed: 1. Lay out the current customer journey in place to ensure there is clarity on the expected "As-Is" journey 2. Review the detail of the case of Joane and identify the gaps from the current customer journey and any new areas that need to be addressed. 3. Define the problem statement 4. Define a new customer journey that addresses the gaps and any other potential gaps identified. 5. Involve all the key stakeholders from different departments in the above steps. 6. Define the new customer journey 7. Internally try out the customer journey with 2 - 3 employees / senior stakeholder to ensure it works 8. Review the outcomes through process maps and interviews to define any gaps that still exist and re-work. 9. Reach out to Joane / other regular guests advising them of the change and engage them to support / try out the new journey when they make reservation the next time 10. Undertake post-mortem interviews with the guests and update / finalise with their feedback 11. Train all relevant team members and roll-out the new journey
- This skill is best taught through an experience based learning approach. Post key aspects being clarified, it will be ideal to get the mentee to define a problem / issue and then help them through the process step-by-step so that they not only find the solutions to the issue but also become more proficient at applying these principles in the future.
- Diversity and inclusions is at a basic level within the organization where the focus is to be able to reach a high level of gender diversity. Targets are set of the recruitment teams for various level and roles within the organization to achieve a high level of gender diversity. The need for women leaders and gender balance within the organization is high.
- 1. Creating a shared understanding as to how diversity and inclusion can positively impact workplace. 2. Showcase example of companies achieving success who have focused on D&I as an integral strategy 3. Train leadership, managers and teams alike on the principles of supporting D&I 4. Focused inputs and training / workshops with recruitment teams 5. Target setting for achieving diversity at workplace
- 1. This will be best learnt through case study review and analysis of organizations and the impact they have had due to D&I or the lack of it. 2. Self evaluation of processes / mindset which impact D&I approach

Denying yourself "me" time to relax and think and letting energies flow 5. Being impacted by the outside world To address: Be yourself, find your creative element, go outside your comfort zone, become a go-giver and approach everyone with a mindset of peace
- It will be critical to help the mentee introspect and find what their purpose is. Why are there here - what do they feel most fulfilled with when they contribute to something I will take the route of some good string books to read and then go through some of the learnings from tat and help them find their true self - which in effect will help to unblock their creativity
