Being a mother is one of the most adaptable things in the world. With a growing kid, we too learn, grow and progress each day as the younger one throws tantrums, raises demands, may fall sick, apart from many other things. To manage such scenarios on a day to day basis, requires great adaptability, which I have learnt over the years raising my 9 year old.
Yes it did happen. Especially when there were two tasks at hand, one the boss felt was urgent, and the other I felt was urgent and more important. Not adapting to the situation and giving in to the pressure, ruined few things for me including strained relationships with my boss.

For building emotional understanding, it is important to build EQ, to become emotionally healthy by learning to reconnect with your core emotions, accept them, and become comfortable with them. This can be done by mindfulness, meditation, and improving focus in life, and start living in the present without being judgmental of people and others.
