- Short answers, irritability, not being present, preoccupation, not listening, not being attentive, being distracted, restlessness, not engaging with the now
- When you don’t attach a trigger for new behavior, when the change has no meaning to you, when you dont allot a time for the changed practice
- Making good choices, adapting to new different or challenging situations, physical, emotional and mental health, handle complex situations, deal with chronic stress
- I take time but can switch off. Move away from work area, involve yourself in a physical activity, keep away from mobile devices, postpone my thinking deliberately using self talk
- I would share my story about how i developed a routine that allows me to detach mentally from work. The things to do is to celebrate the end of a task with simple stuff like take a walk, play with kids or pets, listen to music. I find that helps me break away from work
- Through our experiences, our interactions, what we are taught, what we see others do and when we do not question ourselves but do as we see others do , automatic thoughtless behaviours often have an inherent bias
- A story of how i met someone and assumed by their outward appearance that they were poor and uneducated, until i got chatting with them and realised that their outward appearance was pretty deceiving
- Develop a health routine that allocates a fixed amount of time available for news or social media. Understand that all external media is someone else’s story. Concentrate on building your story that enables you now and in the future

- It is motivating and it imbues positive energy. It helps you thrive It enables you to put things into perspective during testing times. It enables you to advance in your career or life by allowing you to see untapped resources and opportunities.
- He will lose sight of things that really matter in his life. He will have difficulty in acquiring survival skills after the crisis.
- Goals give you a clear direction to move in. They help to keep us focused on the effort and help us not waste time on the what ifs. They help us get a better sense of achievement and enable us measure progress on the journey.
- I will eat better, by ensuring I do some meal prep on Sundays to make sure I have 5 servings of vegetables before lunch each day for the next 3 months. This will enable me to meet my nutrient requirements.
- Smart goals provide clarity on what i need to do towards what outcome and within what timeframe. They keep me focused on the effort and motivated on my journey
- All the above and i believe all my effort into myself is cumulative. Each achievement feeds into another and each non achievement detracts from my final goal. Also having them planned daily, weekly and monthly breaks down the big goals into small doable parts. It also provides variety
- Goals tell me what i am aiming for, they give me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Goals help me track how i am doing regularly and help me review performance to check if my efforts are on track
- Keep goals small and realistic, work on them everyday, review performance consistently, change direction if you have to, be flexible as there is no one right way forward, sometimes even non achievement in one goals may be accomplishment on another, enjoy the journey towards the goals. That is important. The learnings from the journey are more important ant and valuable than the goal itself
- To know oneself, to appreciate the possibilities that your potential offers.
- Be content with what you have, feel gratitude, be kind, be a leader the best you know how, serve others and maybe then you have some hope to know yourself. Along the way practice mindfulness and engage in service to give back
- Share a time when you faced an angry customer and during the interaction were able to take him from angry to reasonable and willing to understand your side of the story
- Listen. Say you understand. Show empathy. Follow the process. Don’t defend
- I find showing interest and really listening helps the conversation go from confrontation to a conversation. Angry customers are angry at a situation rather than at you remembering that helps me look at the situation objectively. Its always good to write down and follow up on the complaint made. Clarifying what they are really angry about helps them look at their anger to the situation more clearly
